West Indies Squad name announced for 2nd test against India
Cricket West Indies 2nd test squad announced for the second and final Test against India. The hosts would be looking to level the series after losing the first Test by 9 wickets.
The squad includes one change from the first Test, with uncapped spinner Kevin Sinclair replacing all-rounder Raymon Reifer. Sinclair, who is 26 years old, has played 10 first-class matches and has taken 45 wickets at an average of 22.55.
The rest of the WI 2nd test squad remains the same, with Kraigg Brathwaite leading the side. Jermaine Blackwood is the vice-captain, while the other batsmen in the squad are Alick Athanaze, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Nkrumah Bonner, and Joshua Da Silva.
The pace attack is led by Kemar Roach, Jason Holder, and Alzarri Joseph. Shannon Gabriel and Kirk McKenzie are the other two pace bowlers in the squad. The spin attack consists of Rakhkeem Cornwall and Jomel Warrican, with Sinclair providing back-up.
The second Test will be played at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia from July 20-24.
