Should be banned: Furious Pierre Gasly demands Carlos Sainz ban after Q1 incident in Canadian GP

Pierre Gasly was furious with Carlos Sainz after the Ferrari man appeared to impede him late on in Q1 of the Canadian Grand Prix. Gasly was on a quick lap when he came up behind Sainz, who was driving slowly at the final corner. Gasly was forced to take to the escape road to avoid contact, and he ended up being eliminated from Q1.

According to the F1 Updates Latest Gasly was understandably angry, and he demanded that Sainz be banned for his actions. He said over the team radio: "He should be banned for such a thing! I'm coming at 300kph! What the f*** do they think?!"

Sainz was later given a three-place grid penalty for impeding Gasly, but Gasly still believes that he should have been banned. He said: "I think it's a very dangerous move. He's blocking me on the racing line, I'm coming at 300kph, it's a very dangerous move. I think he should be banned, to be honest."

Whether or not Sainz should be banned is a matter of opinion, but there's no doubt that his actions were dangerous and irresponsible. He could have easily caused a serious accident, and he should be held accountable for his actions.

The FIA has the power to ban drivers for dangerous driving, and they should consider doing so in this case. Sainz's actions were a clear violation of the rules, and they put Gasly and other drivers at risk. A ban would send a clear message that the FIA will not tolerate this type of behavior.

Ultimately, it's up to the FIA to decide whether or not to ban Sainz. However, Gasly's demands are understandable, and the FIA should take his concerns seriously.
